Information we use

For a business or product inquiry, we collect the contact, company, market, application, volume, packaging, timing and project information you choose to provide. For a tea gift order, we collect purchaser contact details, recipient names and delivery details, gift preferences, personal message, payment status and support communications. Please only provide recipient information that is necessary to deliver the gift.

Why and with whom

We use inquiry information to review and respond to the requested product, sample, trade or gift conversation. We use order information to take payment, personalize and deliver the gift, prevent fraud, provide support and meet legal obligations. Payment details are handled by Stripe and are not stored on our server. Inquiry acknowledgements and order email are processed through Resend. Necessary delivery details may be shared with production and shipping partners.

Retention and choices

Order records are retained only as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, accounting, dispute handling and legal obligations. Gift information is not added to marketing lists without separate consent. To request access, correction or deletion where applicable, email dscaro88@gmail.com. Some transaction records may need to be retained by law.

International processing

SilkRoad Leaf serves cross-border customers, so information may be processed in countries other than the purchaser's or recipient's country. We use service providers appropriate to the order workflow and limit information to what is needed.
